Purpose
At Sunwell Solutions LTD, we believe that running a responsible business means taking care of the environment, our people, and the communities we operate in — not just delivering great technology services.
This policy sets out our commitment to sustainability and explains how we intend to reduce our environmental impact, operate ethically, and continuously improve over time. It applies to everyone at Sunwell Solutions LTD — all employees, contractors, and anyone acting on our behalf.
Our Commitment
We are committed to:
- Reducing our environmental footprint by measuring and cutting our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions year-on-year
- Using resources responsibly — including energy, water, and materials — and minimising waste wherever we can
- Buying sustainably by choosing suppliers and partners who share our values
- Complying with all applicable environmental and sustainability legislation and other requirements that apply to us
- Being transparent about our sustainability performance with our customers, staff, and stakeholders
- Continuously improving our sustainability management system through regular review and action
Environmental Commitments
Greenhouse Gas Emissions
We are committed to reducing our Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions year-on-year. We will measure our carbon footprint annually and identify practical steps to reduce it. As our understanding of our impact grows, we will extend this to include relevant Scope 3 emissions — such as those from our supply chain and business travel.
We do not currently have a fixed net zero target date. We will set one once we have completed our first full carbon baseline assessment.
Energy
We aim to reduce the energy we consume in our office and through our IT operations. Where we have a choice, we will favour energy-efficient equipment and renewable energy sources.
Waste
We will minimise the waste we produce and, where waste cannot be avoided, we will prioritise reuse and recycling over disposal. This includes responsible disposal of IT equipment and peripherals in line with our Energy & Waste Management Policy.
Sustainable Procurement
When we buy products or services, we will take environmental and social factors into account alongside cost and quality. We expect our key suppliers to operate to a similar standard, as set out in our Sustainable Procurement Policy.
Social Commitments
We recognise that sustainability is not just about the environment. We are also committed to:
- Providing a safe, healthy, and inclusive workplace for all our people
- Treating everyone fairly, with dignity and respect
- Upholding human rights throughout our operations and supply chain
- Engaging with our local community in a positive way

Governance
Leadership Accountability
Our General Manager has overall responsibility for sustainability at Sunwell Solutions LTD. This includes ensuring this policy is implemented, reviewed, and communicated to all staff.
Objectives and Targets
We set and track measurable sustainability objectives each year and review them as part of our Annual Sustainability Review. We report our carbon footprint annually; our first baseline year runs from May 2026 to April 2027.
Legal Compliance
We will identify and comply with all environmental laws, regulations, and other obligations that apply to our business, and track them in our legal and compliance register.
Communication
This policy is available to all employees and is shared with customers and other stakeholders on request and via our public website. All staff are expected to read, understand, and act in accordance with it.
Continuous Improvement
We will review this policy and our sustainability performance at least once a year. Reviews will consider:
- Progress against our objectives and targets
- Changes in legislation or customer requirements
- Feedback from staff and stakeholders
- Any significant changes to how we operate
Where we identify gaps or opportunities, we will update our approach accordingly.
